Throughout the growing months we will be holding drop in Volunteer days, usually on the last Saturday of each month –Next Volunteer day TBC
Join an amazing group of people who have joined us for Volunteer Days so far!
Help us keep the Garden looking its best- Fence painting, minor repairs, tidying, weeding, preparing seedlings, planting, and other seasonal tasks.
Between 10am – 2pm (weather dependent) – stay as long as you like – from half an hour to the whole day. Please dress for the weather, and wear suitable footwear.
Gloves, tools and refreshments provided.
People under 16 welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Mentors
We are looking for Volunteer Mentors to work 1-2-1 with our trainee gardeners enabling them to achieve their goals during their placement at the garden. Garden knowledge not as important as enthusiasm! The ability to make a regular commitment and have good people skills and nurturing skills are more important.
Shop Assistants
We are looking for people to help in our shop, serving customers and recording sales, tidying and merchandising our shop and nursery area, ensuring plants are labelled and priced. Must be able to commit to 3hrs at least one Saturday a month, but ideally weekly or fortnightly.
– Our shop is open 10am-3.45pm Wed-Sat.
Gardeners
We are currently looking for experienced gardening volunteers to join our team at the garden. Good knowledge of growing vegetables and soft fruits is required. This is an ideal an opportunity to learn about organic gardening practices. Minimum commitment would be 3 hours a week.
