Volunteer Days At HOPE

Throughout the growing months we will be holding drop in Volunteer days on the last Saturday of each monthNext Volunteer day Saturday 25th June 2022
Join an amazing group of people who have joined us for Volunteer Days so far!

Help us keep the Garden looking its best- Fence painting, minor repairs, tidying, weeding, preparing seedlings, planting, and other seasonal tasks.

Between 10am – 3pm (weather dependent) – stay as long as you like – from half an hour to the whole day. Please dress for the weather, and wear suitable footwear.

Gloves, tools and refreshments provided.

Volunteer Gardeners

We are currently looking for experienced gardening volunteers to join our team at the garden. Good knowledge of growing vegetables and soft fruits is required. This is an ideal an opportunity to learn about organic gardening practices. Minimum commitment would be 3 hours a week.

Volunteer Mentors

We are also looking for Volunteer Mentors to work one to one with our trainee gardeners enabling them to achieve their goals during their placement at the garden. Some gardening knowledge would be good but good people skills and nurturing skills are more important.
